Sara started working for Microsoft in 2001 and is an avid blogger who's featured in numerous news articles, interviews and podcasts.

Since her inception as a Program Manager for CodePlex she's been on the forefront in Open Source + Microsoft, a topic that's raised eyebrows across the industry.

Sara is a true pioneer when it  comes to the community - with her book Visual Studio Tips, released in October 2008, Sara took authoring to a whole new level and donated all of the proceeds from the book to the victims of the Katrina disaster.

This put her on the top list of community contributors and earned her a lot of respect around the industry.
